Our goal is to enrich the daily lives of our senior residents by
providing an assisted living environment that enhances and
stimulates their physical and emotional well being. We
ensure this through our specialized
services, quality of care,
weekly outings and entertainment.
Newly constructed in 2002, The Briarlea was architecturally designed
to blend elegant style with warmth and home-like comfort.
This
exceptionally spacious and beautifully appointed private health
care residence for men and women is situated on a quiet cul de
sac, minutes from shopping centres and hospitals, with idyllic
views of the gardens, rolling hills, forests and valleys. In
this park-like setting, Briarlea residents have a front row seat
to enjoy the change in seasons.
Both innovative and considerate touches transform this single
story 8,300 sq. ft. facility into a warm, inviting and
comfortable home that meets the personal needs of residents
while providing a pleasant, relaxing, secure environment in
which to live. Warm, rich colours throughout contribute to a
simple elegance that visitors say resembles a vacation resort
more than a special care facility.
Other thoughtful amenities include emergency call systems in
bedrooms and bathrooms, radiant in-floor heat, laundry
facilities, a hair salon and a dining area divided into two
sections, each with garden doors to a deck, for greater intimacy
and warmth.

"I like working at The Briarlea because
there is a feeling of going home, not going to work. The kitchen
is a cook's dream! The residents are like one big family along
with all the staff."
