Director, Susan Dixson, has makes the elderly her life's work and
has endeavoured to bring reassurance and ease to the stressful
realities facing the aged since opening her first facility in
1994. During this time, she gained a wealth of knowledge and
insight into the needs of seniors. This has enabled her, with
the help of an excellent team of staff members, to provide the
most enjoyable, comfortable, and peaceful living possible.
"We have an intimate relationship with
our
residents. We are truly like a
closely-knit family."
The elderly are her life, and she is as careful about their
feelings and comfort as she is about their physical care.
"All I have ever done is work in the service industry. I
know that I have a special gift and I also know what seniors
want and, most importantly, what makes them happy," says
Susan. "I have extremely high and uncompromising standards
when it comes to quality care and service. When you care for the
elderly, this is very important."

Susan and the staff at Briarlea give my mother the care,
love and respect that she always gave to others. I
tell people with pride that my mother lives at Briarlea.
